Restaurants & Cafe's
The is a good selection of restaurants and bars within a very short walking distance from the apartment, the atmosphere is very relaxed. The small harbour has good selection of traditional Turkish restaurants selling excellent fresh sea food, we usually manage to find a table on the edge of the harbour which proved for marvellous views during you meal. For snacks you can visit one of the several cafes in the small town centre. Where every you choose to dine you will find that the staff are very friendly and the service is excellent, with reasonable prices as well.
Yalikavak Marina and Harbour
Yalikavak now has a brand new 450 berth marina alongside its picturesque traditional harbour, the whole area is traffic free with much of it being lined with cobbled stone walk ways. The bay of Yalikava is the the considers the most elegant on the whole Bodrum peninsula. Next to the marina you will find a 2500 person capacity amphitheatre which hosts a number of concerts and other events throughout the season
Supermarkets
You will find an excellent supermarket called Migros about 200M walk from the apartment ,which sell a good variety of groceries. There is a good selection of smaller independent traditional family run store in and around the town centre. If you want to visit a hyper market then there is a KIPA (Tesco) store on the main road into Bodrum , this is about 5 miles away and hence you will need some form of transport.
Beaches
All beaches along the peninsula are clean and the water crystal clear, there are several small beaches within walking distance of the apartment. Sun loungers and parasols which you can use are provide by near by bars. It is courteous to buy a drink if you a using the sun beds , this is common arrangement on most beaches along the Bodrum peninsula.
